To teach, govern, and sanctify Another son of Augustine • Bishop Benoit Gschwind, A.A., is a member of the Augustinians of the Assumption (the Assumptionists). Before becoming Bishop of Pamiers (France), he was Provincial of the Assumptionists of the Province of France and then, of Europe. He served as editor-in-chief of Living with Christ in France for many years. He was also national chaplain of the Scouts of France before becoming assistant to the chaplain general of the same movement.

Wisdom from our friends Gratitude and preparation • Most Rev. James F. Checchio has served as the fifth bishop of the Diocese of Metuchen in Piscataway, New Jersey, since his installation on May 3, 2016. He was born in Camden, New Jersey, one of four children of James and Helen Checchio. Raised in Collingswood, N.J. before being named Bishop of the Diocese of Metuchen, he served as rector of the Pontifical North American College in Rome from 2006 to 2016.
